SWR 1 Boat on the River
Koblenz, the river Rhein, the concert was taking place just inside a boat,
the audiance&artists being
prisonners of a 3 hours trip.
Iwi made us know the time for J’s appearance and at 8 :15 pm, we deserted
the upper deck to reach downstairs…. YOU MAKE ME FEEL opened the suite of
the other songs, like everytime, cause, in my opinion, this song heats cold
hearts lol, it’s a good starting song ! Then WHY for Jimmy to get rid of it
quickly lol. Next was NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE, which wasn’t in the right place
? Then, the nice slow FOR A FRIEND that Jimmy sang with passion. Reggae
style with TO LOVE SOMEBODY and a bit of old creation with SO COLD THE
NIGHT. SMALLTOWN BOY wasn’t forgotten like in every show. DON’T LEAVE ME
THIS WAY should have been the last. But germans asked for another song. The
3 came back and did YOU’RE MY HEART, YOU’RE MY SOUL like at the Wulheide.
Later in the evening, we succeeded in fouding&meeting the 3 singers on this
cruise, it was incredible to exchange some words, hugs and autographs again
after a 2 years break!
